AdSense vs Ezoic on a Bangla-Based Website: My Real Earning Comparison

For over a decade, I’ve been running one of the most popular Bangla-based websites in its niche. With consistent traffic of over 22,000 daily visitors and more than 70,000 pageviews per day, my site ranks at the top on Google for many competitive keywords. Despite this, my AdSense earnings never quite matched the scale of traffic.

Let me walk you through my journey—why I stuck with AdSense for years, what made me try Ezoic, and how that one decision more than tripled my daily ad revenue.

The AdSense Days: High Traffic, Low Income

Although my website has a large and loyal audience, the vast majority of my traffic comes from Bangladesh and West Bengal, India. Over 95% of my users are from these regions, which unfortunately results in a very low CPC (Cost Per Click) of just $0.01 to $0.02.

Here are some typical stats from my AdSense setup:

  • Average daily ad clicks: 300+
  • CPC: $0.01–$0.02
  • Page RPM: Around $0.15
  • Average daily income: ~$7

When I compared this with websites having similar traffic from a more global audience, the earnings were shocking—10x higher than mine in many cases. I accepted this as a regional limitation, especially since other Bangla websites I researched reported similar numbers.

Other Ad Networks? Been There, Done That

Over the years, I experimented with several other ad networks. Unfortunately, none came close to the income I was getting from AdSense. Even worse, they often showed unrelated or intrusive ads, harming user experience and retention. Disappointed, I eventually stopped using ads entirely for over a year before going back to AdSense.

Enter Ezoic: A Game Changer in 2025

In early 2025, an Ezoic representative reached out to me. I was skeptical, thinking it would be another disappointing ad network, but after some research (and some help from AI), I noticed many publishers reporting 4x to 6x revenue improvements after switching from AdSense to Ezoic.

So, I gave it a shot.

Onboarding Wasn't Easy

The hardest part was getting my site approved by Google Ad Manager, which Ezoic uses to serve ads. Repeated rejections from Google (stating that the domain didn’t exist) delayed my onboarding by weeks. It was only resolved after Ezoic support directly intervened and got the site approved.

The setup process is well-documented, but not beginner-friendly. If you're not tech-savvy, expect a steep learning curve.

The First Day with Ezoic: Double the Earnings

I officially started using Ezoic on February 26, 2025. That very first day, I made $14, twice my AdSense average.

Ezoic uses AI to optimize ad placement and performance. After a few days of experimentation, my earnings stabilized at over $20 per day. Later, I switched to JavaScript integration (instead of the Ezoic CDN) to resolve some optimization issues. However, that change brought my earnings down to the $17–$18 range.

Following Ezoic’s suggestion, I reverted back to CDN integration, and my daily income jumped back to $20+. After reaching Ezoic Level 3 in mid-April 2025, I saw another spike—now averaging $27 per day with a slightly increased traffic of 24k daily visitors and an EPMV (Earnings per Thousand Visitors) of over $1.00.

Here’s My Current Ezoic Configuration

  • Integration: Ezoic CDN
  • Leap Optimization: Enabled (to counter Core Web Vitals issues)
  • Ezoic Cache: Enabled (serves about 15% of pages due to dynamic content)

The Ezoic AI continuously recommends optimizations, mainly around ad placements and page speed, that I haven’t fully implemented yet. I plan to try those soon and will share another update if my earnings improve further.

Final Thoughts: A No-Brainer for South Asian Publishers?

If you're running a Bangla-based site (or any site with a predominantly South Asian audience), you probably already know how dismal the AdSense CPC rates are. That $0.02 CPC limit seems hard to break.

But based on my experience, Ezoic is a real alternative worth trying. Even with the same traffic, my income has increased 3-4x compared to AdSense.

If you can qualify for Ezoic, go for it—at least run it side by side with AdSense and track which one works better for you.

P.S. I've included a chart below comparing my AdSense and Ezoic income over time. The difference speaks for itself.
